Researchers from the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts have uncovered a pair of gems in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Archaeologists unearthed the ancient Mayan city of Tamchen, deep in the Yucatan jungle, then rediscovered Lagunita nearby.
