Can GOP Move to the Center?

While the GOP is adamant that the party must elect a strong conservative to have any chance of winning the White House, political pundit Dick Morris suggests a move to the center of the political spectrum on some issues may be more beneficial. “The argument that’s being made about the 2016 election is that Republicans have a choice,” Morris says. “Stay over way to the right and generate turnout by enthusing the base, or compromise on crucial positions, move to the center and go after the swing voter. That’s a stupid false choice.” There’s a better way, Morris insists, such as addressing three key issues: immigration, attacking Wall Street and gun control. He explains in this edition of Dick Morris Reports.
