Rep. Van Drew Speaks Out

Speaking for the first time since switching parties, U.S. Rep. Jeff Van Drew, R-New Jersey, says the Democrat Party’s steady march to the left toward a socialist-driven agenda weighed heavily in his decision to join the GOP.

“I’m a proud capitalist, I believe in hard work. I believe we can give people opportunity, but they have to work hard to achieve success,” he says.

Van Drew was one of two Democrats to vote against impeaching President Trump, calling the process weak and thin, and failing to register with the American people. He elaborates on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo.
