Rich Men North Of Richmond

When I first came across Oliver Anthony and his music, I was blown away to say the least. He had a whole collection of songs that I could listen to for hours. Oliver resides in Farmville, VA with his 3 dogs and a plot of land he plans on turning into a small farm to raise livestock.

We have a whole mess of songs set to release of Oliver for your viewing and listening pleasure. He is truly special and notes his biggest influence as Hank Williams Jr. Oliver wants to give hope to the working class and your average hard working young man who may have lost hope in the grind of trying to get by. Here’s more from radiowv.

Lady Antebellum Vexes Me

The Nashville country band Lady Antebellum dropped their name, fearing some hardcore Liberals might mistake them as advocates for slavery. In point of fact, “antebellum” has little to do with slavery but is instead a historical term meaning “before the war,” and specifically applying to the Civil War.

Our story doesn’t end there, however. Lady Antebellum rechristened themselves as Lady A, and now they are suing a black blues singer who has been using the name Lady A for quite some time. In other words, it doesn’t matter what era they come from or what era they want to represent. Lady Antebellum are a bunch of weasels and douchebags! More from Magog of Morskar.

God Bless the USA

Country music artist Lee Underwood is no doubt renowned for his signature song “God Bless the USA” from his American Patriot album. The single was an instant hit when released in 1984 and received a gracious welcome at the 1984 Republican National Convention. But the song sharply penetrated the American psyche following the 9/11 attack on our country and again with the U.S. invasion of Iraq. As we celebrate our freedom on this glorious of all holidays, sit back and enjoy this remarkable composition.
