False Flag Planted In Baltic Sea

This week on the New World Next Week: Nord Stream blows up after Biden and Nuland threaten it; the Canadian government scraps their ArriveCAN app tyranny…for now; and the GFANZ alliance is failing forward into global governmental regulation. More from The Corbett Report and Media Monarchy.

Expect Major Pilot Shortage

Summer travelers are warned to expect an increase in flight delays and cancellations due to a pilot shortage. John Stossel reports the airline industry is experiencing a shortage of more than 12,000 pilots, all because of a stupid new government rule. He bring the details and explains why the unions like the restrictions.

Another California Dem Busted!

We recently ran a blurb about California Gov. Gavin Newsom moving to lock down restaurants and forbid indoor dining, all while secretly violating those edicts himself. But it turns out he’s not the only phony among the ruling elite in California. Now, we have the example of Sheila Kuehl, another lying Democrat and Los Angeles County Supervisor, who called for stricter dining regulations. Allowing even outdoor dining, she said, is “a most dangerous situation” because servers come within six feet of so many different patrons.

Sounds like she’s really concerned. Except, she went out the very same night to a swanky restaurant, violating all of the edicts she was enforcing upon the lowly peons! It’s little wonder the public is growing more restless and angry. These politicos are trampling on all of us. More from Ovation Eddie, drawing upon the commentary of Tucker Carlson with Fox News.

Salon Owner Refutes Pelosi

Erica Kious denies Nancy Pelosi’s claim that she was set up after video surfaces of the House speaker’s maskless visit to a San Francisco hair salon. More from Tucker Carlson on Fox News.

Nancy Pelosi is demanding a formal apology. This is not right. She’s offended. More from The United Spot.

Demonstrators gather outside Nancy Pelosi’s posh San Francisco pad. They string up blow dryers and curlers in the tree in front of her home. These women actually look like women, not like Democratic frauds. More from Lasse Burholt.

Pelosi is in good company among the Democrats. None of them follow the edicts and orders they impose on regular citizens. Remember when Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot also decided she needed her hair done. This was back in April at the height of the coronavirus hysteria.

And before anyone says we are just picking on women, what about the Democratic governor of Nevada, Steve Sisolak, entertaining guests with a night of live music and dining — all while insisting Nevada restaurants and nightclubs endure coronavirus restrictions? Face it, the Democrats could care less how much economic damage or personal hardship they cause. They do not follow the draconian regulations they impose on others. Cheap shit con artists!

Why California Wildfires?

Why is wildfire season always so tough in California? The state’s draconian environmental regulations, that’s why. Here, PragerU explains the connection between the two and why California has become the United States’ worst place to go if you want to avoid wildfires.

Of course, when California enacts stringent regulations, those are for thee, not for me. The Democrats routinely circumvent and disregard the same regulations they impose on everyone else. Take Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker.

California has closed down all hair salons because of the coronavirus pandemic. But Pelosi wanted a haircut, so she called a San Francisco salon and demanded she get her haircut, never mind the wuflu rules! More from Salty Cracker.

Nancy Pelosi’s visit to the hair salon proved to be one big rightwing conspiracy. Whatever, the sting demonstrated: One rule for thee, another rule for me. More from Meme the Left.

When Democrats Are in Charge

What happens when Democrats run your state? In the case of California, the answers are overwhelmingly clear and depressing. You not only have excessive taxation and regulation, but also a steady outflow of both businesses and residents.

Here’s a closer look at just how much damage Democrats have done to the Golden State.  We should all make sure, as they pile into our other states, that we don’t allow them to duplicate this same mess elsewhere!

Victor Davis Hanson says these negative results have grown more pronounced since the disastrous eight years of the Obama administration. Hanson is an American classicist, military historian, columnist and farmer. He has been a commentator on modern and ancient warfare and contemporary politics for National Review, The Washington Times and other media outlets. He is a professor emeritus of classics at California State University, Fresno, and is currently the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in classics and military history at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution.

In this clip, he talks about how the Obama Presidency left the Democratic Party in today’s mess.

(EDITOR’S NOTE: This video has disappeared from YouTube. In its absence, we bring you a Bitchute alternative, from the next News Network, reporting on Victor Davis Hanson destroying the Leftwing journalists singing the praises of Michelle Obama.)

Fight Against Food Trucks

Food trucks are a vital part of many vibrant neighborhoods. For some entrepreneurs, they’re a great first rung for entering the food industry.

Laura Pekarik is one of these entrepreneurs. She sells cupcakes from a food truck in Chicago. Laura says the food truck industry “gives individuals like me an entrance into a market opportunity for the small business owner that otherwise wouldn’t have been there. I was able to rent a kitchen space instead of renting a whole brick and mortar and managing a team of people. Everything kind of was under my control to kind of get my feet wet in the business.”

But since starting her business, the increased regulations have made it too hard for her to take her truck in to the city. Often she is not even allowed to park. When she does find parking, she can only stay 2 hours. “Every moment that we’re driving around and not parked in the location with our window open meant that we couldn’t sell,” she says.

Baltimore Pizza Truck operator Joey Vanoni tells John Stossel about his similar experiences. He is not allowed to park his truck within 300 feet of any brick and mortar restaurant that sells pizza. Joey says that means “there’s almost nowhere left for me to operate.”

Why do politicians limit where food trucks may park? Chicago Alderman Tom Tunney says he wants to protect existing restaurants. “It is such a small margin business and it employs so many people. That’s what we need to protect.” John Stossel says, he’s a bottlenecker.

Bastardizing Capitalism

The fall of the Soviet Union in the ’80s was a huge black mark for communism and capitalists rejoiced. But progressives still soured on capitalism, suggesting we needed something in between. Enter The Third Way. Consumer reporter John Stossel says that we, in fact, have a “third way” today, which he describes as capitalism smothered in government. Stossel explains the transformation and what he’s coined the bastardization of capitalism in this edition of LibertyPen.

Regulation Nation

Regulations, regulations and more regulations. Consumer investigative reporter John Stossel says he tried to open a legal lemonade stand outside his studio office in New York City but failed because of the avalanche of regulations. He said it would have taken at least two months. First, the government required a 15-hour food protection class, followed by an exam and a wait of weeks to get the results. On top of that, you’re required to purchase a government-approved fire extinguisher. “And government keeps adding rules,” Stossel says. “This is why job growth is slow. There are 175,000 pages of regulations on the books today. Few people even understand these rules.” Stossel welcomes University of Virginia law professor Michael Livermore and Manhattan Institute Fellow Jared Meyer to debate the pros and cons of the issue in this edition of Liberty Pen.

Pope Wrong About Capitalism

When Pope Francis decried that the culture of prosperity deadens us all and blamed it on capitalism last December, that riled more than a few capitalists. One of them is Marian Tupy, senior policy analyst at the Cato Institute and editor of the website Human Progress, who tells Reason.TV’s Nick Gillespie that Pope Francis is wrong on two counts.

“First of all, the Pope is under the impression that the markets are free. That the markets are unfettered. He uses the expression ‘totally autonomous markets.’ In fact, over the past 20 years Washington alone has produced some 80,000 regulations … we don’t really have free markets as such. And secondly, what we see in countries with a level of great economic freedom, the poor are richer, they own a greater share of national wealth, there is less corruption and there are greater political and civil liberties.”
