Sweet Home Alabama

Scott Ott says everything you know about the Alabama in vitro fertilization (IVF) Supreme Court case is wrong!
Ott and his “Right Angle” colleagues, Bill Whittle and Stephen Green, were shocked to discover that the mainstream media had not only gotten the frozen embryos case in Alabama wrong, but actually inverted. Ott and the team bring the details on how and why.

How Super Should One Man Be?

The founding fathers went to enormous trouble trying to find as precise a balance of power as was humanly possible. And they succeeded.

But has Congress abdicated too much authority to the executive branch? Or has the explosion of cabinet-level positions left the President with too little power? And what the heck are a Chief Executive’s proper duties, now that you mention it?

The “”Right Angle” crew of Scott Ott, Bill Whittle and Stephen Green share their thoughts.

Why Is America So Divided?

You want to know why America is really divided? Follow the science.

The “Right Angle” team of Scott Ott, Bill Whittle and Stephen Green dissect a Washington Post article by Joel Auchenbach and a subsequent interview of the author by “Think,” a public radio program, in which he revealed, among other factors, that political divisions are being sparked by a steady rise of tribalism and that “policy preferences are increasingly likely to be entangled with a visceral dislike of the opposition.”

The “Right Angle” crew shares their thoughts, including Auchenbach’s premise of how evolutionary psychology plays a role into the division.

Honest People Need Not Apply

Honest People Need Not Apply: That appears to be the de facto national motto when it comes to U.S. immigration policy in these progressive times.

Bill Whittle says virtually all of the topics covered on “Right Angle” interests him and his colleagues in an intellectual way, but few of them hit home right in the gut like this one. Whittle is joined by Scott Ott and Stephen Green for more.

Dems Turn To Abortion Platform

What to do if you are running a candidate with the worst approval ratings in history? Make the 2024 election about abortion, the one item guaranteed to bring out the Democrat in liberal women all across the country.

Scott Ott thinks we can do a lot better job of presenting the pro-baby side of the story than we have so far. He’s joined by “Right Angle” colleagues Bill Whittle and Stephen Green to discuss the issue.

Who Owns The News?

Who actually owns the news? Unfortunately, but not unsurprisingly, many mainstream journalists believe that they do and therein lies much mischief.

Stephen Green says a case in point is Wall Street Journal Editor-in-Chief Emma Tucker, who told a WEF Davos Retreat audience, “Not that long ago we owned the news, we were the gatekeepers and we owned the facts, as well.” She emphasized that if it appeared in the Wall Street Journal or The New York Times, it was a fact.

Says Bill Whittle, “I think the most interesting thing about this is the sheer hubris to say we use to own the facts, just the sheer, unadulterated arrogance of that.” Green and Whittle are joined by “Right Angle” colleague Scott Ott to share their thoughts.

Chemicals Of Color

Is Rice University, a well-respected school, leading the fight against white supremacy and landing a smashing a blow to the patriarchy with the study of inequity and bias of chemical reactions?

Hardly. The launching of an unusual science class–Afrochemistry–appears to be just another woke ambition from a liberal university educator, in this case, Dr. Brooke Johnson. Her premise: to study “black life matter!” The “Right Angle” crew of Bill Whittle, Scott Ott and Stephen Green have fun with this one.

Solar Power Is Discriminatory

California, well-known for being on the bleeding-edge of planet-saving initiatives, has been subsidizing solar power home installations for years.

But apparently human survival must take a back seat to an even more important crisis looming over all of our futures: lack of equity. Scott Ott says California is now  removing the subsidy they provide for residents who have solar panels to sell power back to the electricity grid.

Ott says the state was giving solar panel owners the retail price per kilowatt hour to sell electricity back to the grid, but recently determined this was only benefitting the wealthy. “So what happens when the mother of all incentive states dials back the incentives? Do other states follow suit?” Ott asks. He’s joined by “Right Angle” colleagues Bill Whittle and Stephen Green to hash out the issue.

Should Space Be For Sale?

The recent launch of the Peregrine lunar lander malfunctioned and will not be making the trip to the Moon. However, Bill Whittle says Peregrine is privately owned and other privately-owned landers are on deck.

Whittle posits that this raises a very serious question about private ownership and assets in space, begging the question: Should space be for sale? Whittle is joined by colleagues Scott Ott and Stephen Green to discuss the issue in this episode of “Right Angle.”

Crime Without Punishment

From the recent introduction of police bodycam videos, one constant, infuriating theme emerges: serious charges, such drunk driving, disorderly behavior, criminal trespassing and even assault on police officers, are simply being dropped by prosecutors.

Says Bill Whittle, We don’t seem to be having any trouble catching criminals. The challenge seems to be making an arrest more than a minor inconvenience when we do.” Join Whittle and his “Right Angle” colleagues Stephen Green and Scott Ott to discuss the issue.
