Lyin’ Bernie Strikes Again
In a recent CNN interview, Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders told viewers, “I’ve spent my whole life fighting for democracy, fighting against authoritarianism, whether it was in the Soviet Union, Venezuela or anywhere else.” Wow! Fake news that would make Pinnochio proud. Not only has the senator from Vermont praised socialist social programs in the Soviet Union throughout his career, but he also honeymooned in Communist USSR in 1988! Further embarrassing himself, Sanders posted an article on his senate website stating that Venezuela is living the American dream better than America. That’s not fighting against authoritarianism. Fact is, Sanders has spent his time in Congress palling around with authoritarian regimes, ideas and ideologies.
