Google Deranks RT
Google has moved to derank RT, the Soviet political channel. Styxhexenhammer666 got himself banned by YouTube after running his commentary video about the move by Google. YouTube, of course, is a corporate arm of Google.
While the Styx channel disappeared, enough subscribers complained — and rather loudly — to force Google and YouTube to relent and return the channel online. It’s one thing when these companies ban channels run by neo-Nazis or other extremists. But when they start badgering moderate conservatives like Styx, they are proven to be run by fascists.
Personally, we would like to see the US government break up these conglomerates into much smaller, competing companies. Neither Google nor YouTube has demonstrated the slightest commitment to free speech. If they are going to try to rule over the Internet with an iron hand, and enforce their bizarre blend of liberal fascism, they must be eviscerated.
