Rosenstein In the Hot Seat
The New York Times is reporting that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein suggested wearing a wire to record President Donald Trump and invoking the 25th Amendment to remove him from office. Rosenstein is denying the story, saying the Times account is ‘inaccurate and factually incorrect.’ Kevin Corke reports from Las Vegas for Fox News.

If the story is true, Trump should fire Rosenstein immediately. We cannot have a deputy attorney general who’s working to overturn the will of the people. It brings to mind the Rosenberg case of 1953, when Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were sentenced to death after being convicted of selling America’s atomic bomb secrets to the Soviet Union. These were outright traitors who met their proper fate. Likewise, Rosenstein should also be dealt with harshly — beginning with his removal from office if he has committed this kind of seditious crime.
