He Came, He Talked, They Died
Before the State of the Union is relegated to history, we offer this reflection on the speech, by pundit Lionel Nation. He says the positive reception to the talk has ended any Democratic drive toward impeachment. The GOP, Independents, the Undecided love Trump bigly. Even 30 percent of Democrats approved of the speech.
[From the SOTU Address] “Now is the time for Congress to show the world that America is committed to ending illegal immigration and putting the ruthless coyotes, cartels, drug dealers, and human traffickers out of business. As we speak, large, organized caravans are on the march to the United States.
“We have just heard that Mexican cities, in order to remove the illegal immigrants from their communities, are getting trucks and buses to bring them up to our country in areas where there is little border protection. I have ordered another 3,750 troops to our southern border to prepare for the tremendous onslaught.
“This is a moral issue. The lawless state of our southern border is a threat to the safety, security and financial well-being of all America. We have a moral duty to create an immigration system that protects the lives and jobs of our citizens. This includes our obligation to the millions of immigrants living here today, who followed the rules and respected our laws.” — President Donald J. Trump

In Pursuit of Truth deals with SOTU but, more interestingly, explores the hypothesis that the Los Angeles military training “exercise” in downtown Los Angeles was no exercise at all, but rather, an all-out US Army special forces breach of a building owned by NXIVM cult lawyer Thomas V. Girardi. If this is the case, then President Donald Trump might have begun using the US military to bust up child traffickers. Businesses owned by Girardi and his associates are involved with aircraft, shipping companies, cold storage, biotech and a group that works with developmentally challenged kids.

Of note, Girardi is not only the lawyer for NXIVM, he also sits on the board of Unilever. The company’s Good Humor logo is just, so, quaint.
