China: Staving Off Collapse
Signs of economic desperation are apparent in China. Sources say the Chinese regime is hoping to stave off a collapse by giving citizens money to subsidize certain purchases. The exact purchases are still unannounced, but apparently will include smartphones, new-energy vehicles and home appliances.
Says the Money GPS: “When you see stimulus packages, is that a sign of strength or weakness? I personally believe that the majority of people see it as strength. They say ‘look, the government is backing them up.’ To me it shows failure. Some would say I’m being negative. I would argue I’m being realistic.”
