Photo That Changed Astronomy

Since launching in 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope has snapped thousands of spectacular photographs, each with its own story. But in 1995, Hubble Deep Field was perhaps its most significant, a snapshot of the entire history of the universe and first of its kind. Robert Williams, former director of the Space Telescope Science Institute, talks about how the photo changed the culture of astronomy in this edition of Vox.
