When President Trump allegedly mocked a disabled reporter during the 2016 presidential campaign, it sent shock waves through the nation. The media pounced and denounced. Where’s his compassion, they asked? Even Libertarian pundit John Stossel was stunned. But a little research shows Trump used the same motion to mock a general and then-presidential candidate Ted Cruz, destroying the media’s compassion narrative and further exposing their extreme bias toward POTUS. “Turns out this is a Trump performance gimmick,” says Stossel. “It’s not very nice, but it doesn’t seem directed at a disabled person.
