California’s Green Dream
Pennsylvania regulators are forcing truck drivers to buy trucks outside Pennsylvania. The crazy part is, they didn’t even make the rules, they were made by California.
Brian Wanner, owner of Peter Brothers Trucking, tells John Stossel, “We have no say, we can’t do anything about it. I don’t want to be anything like California.”
Stossel reports that because Pennsylvania’s Environmental Quality Board decided to automatically copy rules from California, the cost of new trucks will skyrocket more than $50,000. Here’s Stossel’s report.
