I Think We Struck A Nerve
U.S. Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee, a Democrat, has chosen to retire after the Tennessee Legislature redrew his gerrymandered district. Cohen broke out in tears over the redistricting. But obviously, he didn’t complain when the district was originally drawn, representing classic gerrymandering.
Like a lot of Democrats, Cohen has a “me first” attitude that marks him as immature, someone not capable of being a great leaders. Yes, he will lose his seat, but blacks will not lose representation. Cohen’s the one out of a job. Here’s more from the Liberal Hivemind.
