North Korea IT Scheme Revealed

Headlines With A Voice reports that federal prosecutors have uncovered thousands of information technology employees working remotely for U.S. companies, who have for years sent millions of dollars to North Korea under the radar.

The DOJ said the money has for years gone directly to funding the North Korea weapons program. They said the 17 website domains were used by the North Korea IT workers in a scheme to defraud the U.S. and foreign businesses to evade sanctions, as well as to fund the country’s ballistic missiles program. Declassified CIA documents say agents and other staffers were found guilty of committing sex crimes against children. The documents show a pattern of abuse and a repeated refusal by federal prosecutors not to hold CIA staffers accountable. Frankly, this problem has persisted far too long. It’s time to begin prosecuting these creeps or else abolish the CIA and replace it with a more legitimate law enforcement agency that actually upholds the law. More from Jamie Dlux.
