How It’s Made: Bacon

A DAY OF BACON

The Science Channel program How It’s Made shows how bacon is produced from pork bellies. It’s a complicated process involving marination in a briny salt solution, multiple freezing sessions, slicing, trimming, flavoring, cooking, stacking and packaging.
