Granny O’Grimm
A demented old biddy, angry at the world for neglecting her, takes out her frustrations by crafting a twisted version of Sleeping Beauty, terrifying her grandddaughter. Granny O’Grimm’s Sleeping Beauty, a darkly humorous work from Ireland, earned an Oscar nomination for best animated short in 2010. Nicky Phelan directed from a script by Kathleen O’Rourke, who supplies the vocals for Granny O’Grimm.
