Pyramids for Rent
Strapped for cash, Egypt’s government has floated a proposal that would see the country’s most precious historical landmarks rented out to the highest foreign bidder. The plan comes from Egypt’s finance ministry. Egypt’s most recognized archaeological landmarks, including the pyramids in Giza, the Sphinx as well as temples of Luxor, could all be up for grabs.
