Fox News medical consultant Dr. Manny Alvarez says the Sarah Palin-coined “death panels” of Obamacare are back disguised as “mortality tests,” the result of a government study looking at the health risk factors of longevity. The bottom line, according to Alvarez, is the new death panels will allow doctors to determine whether it is cost effective to treat the elderly. “The ethical fact that they’re even proposing this is mind-blowing to me,” Alvarez says. “The fact remains that now, everything’s about dollars and cents.”
