A Terrorist By Any Other Name
Government officials tried to downplay the Fort Hood shootings in which Nidal Hasan gunned down 13 people and injured 30 others on Nov. 5, 2009. But what was euphemistically described as an incident of workplace violence was, in fact, a blatant act of terrorism on US soil. Anyone who doubts otherwise should listen to the words of Hasan, still unrepentant and still a violent extremist and blood-thirsty terrorist, regardless if the government feels strangely compelled to cast him as some sort of misguided Boy Scout.
