Order in the Court

In 2005, a man sued a dry cleaners for losing his pants. The stunner was that the man asked for $54 million in damages, his case hinging on a sign at the front of the store that read “satisfaction guaranteed” and that he had been defrauded by their incompetence. Needless to say, the judge chided the man, made him pay the legal fees for the other side and warned him to never again bring a case claiming his pants are worth 50 million times their actual value. Check out the details on 14 other strange courtroom cases in this edition of Danger Dolan.
