Another Hillary Boo-Boo

The New York Times‘ breaking news story that Hillary Clinton used her private e-mail account to conduct government business while she was Secretary of State has shocked more than a few Washington establishment types, and political pundit Dick Morris, too. Not only did Clinton’s selfish actions disappear under the radar but also may have well compromised national security. “The reason government officials are required–particularly in the area of national security–to use the government e-mail, not their personal e-mail, is precisely to permit transparency, because what’s the property of the government can be subpoenad by the government and examined, whereas personal e-mails can be destroyed and are much more difficult to obtain and are not transparent,” Morris says.
