What Life’s Like in North Korea?
North Korea is perhaps the world’s least well-known country. But as more North Koreans escape the country and head to China or South Korea, we are learning more of the details about what life is like in the isolated nation. Here are the words of two defectors, who speak of extreme conditions including famine and public executions. But they say young North Koreans are becoming more aware of the outside world, and long for greater freedom. It’s a two-part video, the second part focusing on these defectors’ views of South Korea.
