YouTube Bans Stranahan
YouTube has now taken independent journalist Lee Stranahan off the air. That’s right, the Google-operated channel is no longer even making a pretense of supporting free speech or free press rights. It’s just a fascist arm of the Deep State, engaged in blatant censorship that should be an affront to all Americans, no matter what their political persuasions.
We have run Stranahan’s videos on this website for many years now. He is one of the country’s best investigative reporters. The fact that he’s being censored is not just a black mark on Google’s record. It’s a sign that this company cannot be entrusted to serve the public good and should never be in charge of any significant arm of the Internet — let alone YouTube.
Do march on August 19 to bring attention to Google’s anti-American biases. Time for someone to build a strong channel that will challenge YouTube and actually encourage free discussion of political topics, rather than stifling our rights.
