Putin’s Game-Changing Weapon
Zoe Efstathiou for the Express reports, Vladimir Putin is in the process of producing powerful hypersonic missiles capable of reaching Britain in just 13 minutes, according to a US Air Force report. Unlike regular nuclear weapons, hypersonic missiles can travel at five times the speed of sound and can evade detection by skirting the edge of the earth’s atmosphere. The report, published by the Air Force Studies Board at the National Academies of Science, warns the West has been falling behind when it comes to developing such arms.
