Florida Sheriff Investigation
Pam Bondi, attorney general of Florida, says she will initiate a full investigation of Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel following reports as many as four sheriff’s deputies stood outside a school and did nothing to stop the shooting of 17 students. Israel has said “I gave amazing leadership” in the incident, which occurred at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. But there have been multiple suggestions otherwise, including some talk he issued a “stand-down order.” Bondi appeared on the morning Fox & Friends show.
