Space-Based Defense
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has called upon the Department of Defense to accelerate its review of stalled space-based missile defense systems. What are these defenses? Dick Morris explains. Essentially, they are designed to strike incoming ICBMs, or Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles, and to strike the missiles over the firing countries as opposed to allowing the missiles to descend upon us, or to hit American targets.
