New App Stops Robo Calls
Bill Still reports, “I must block 10 new robo-call numbers each and every week. But now there is an easier way. Last month, 3.5 billion robo-spam calls were made in the U.S. in June – a significant increase over the previous year. But now new cell phone apps are springing up to fight the proliferation of spamy calls to your cell phone. One such app is called RoboKiller. When it sees an incoming call from a known cell phone spammer, it automatically answers your phone and plays a pre-recorded message designed to waste their time until they give up and blacklist your number.”
