Reaching For the Stars
The 480-foot Great Pyramid of Giza, built in 2570 BC, was then the tallest structure ever built by humanity. Amazingly, the record stood for an incredible 3,881 years until it was surpassed in 1311 by England’s Lincoln Cathedral at 524 feet.. Today, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai dwarfs any structure on the planet at 2,722 feet. So how tall can we possibly build?
