The late Foster Brooks, Hollywood’s lovable drunk, portrays a campaign manager for Hubert Humphrey following the 1968 presidential election as part of a Dean Martin Celebrity Roast. Says Brooks about the Democrat nominee, “I taught him everything he knows about politics. Before I got a hold of him, he thought Henry Cabot Lodge was a motel. And that Barry Goldwater was a urologist.”
