Creepy David Bowie Album
EntertheStars Reloaded introduces us to a David Bowie album that appears to predict the 9-11 disaster in New York City. The album, Never Let Me Down, was released on April 20, 1987 — the 111th day of the year. That’s the exact mirror date of 9/11, which occurred on Sept. 11, 2001 when there were 111 days left in year.
The album contains a song called “New York’s in Love,” which has lyrics that go, “The city grew wings in the back of the night/The clouds are stuck like candy floss.” Later, Bowie sings, “It’s now the dead speak to the living/Nothing left here but a raging blaze.”
