The Train Lost in Time
In 1911, the Zanetti Rail Company offered well-off Italians a free ride on its new train’s maiden voyage. Among the adventures was a tour through a recently constructed half-mile tunnel through Lombardi Mountain. Mysteriously, the train, with its 106 passengers, entered the tunnel and never came out. It simply vanished! Workers and police searched every square inch of the tunnel and found no trace of the train, save for two passengers who bailed.
