Prager U’s Fight for Freedom
The most fundamental freedom Americans have–freedom of speech–is in jeopardy. Big tech behemoths, such as YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, are indiscriminately rubbing out conservative content they don’t agree with on their forums, including videos on Prager U, a nonprofit, educational media company. After failing to settle their differences with YouTube and parent company Google, Prager U filed a lawsuit, seeking to regain its first amendment rights. “All our freedoms, the very concept of freedom springs from this right,” says Eric George, lead attorney for Prager U. “Lose it and we’re no longer free, not as individuals and not as a nation.” George lays out his case in the following video.
