Do Aliens Exist in Our Universe?
Considering the enormity of the numbers in our galaxy, its inconceivable that we are alone in the universe. There are a half-trillion stars in our galaxy, each with its own solar system, so at the very least, there are hundreds of billions of planets. “And some of the stars out there are even older that our sun. There may have been a chance for a civilization to start billions of years before life began on Earth,” says asronomer Michelle Thaller, assistant director for science communication at NASA. Problem is, we still don’t have any evidence to prove alien life. Thaller fleshes out the details in this episode of Big Think.
