Racism Not in America’s DNA
When campaigning for our nation’s highest office, Barack Obama declared that racism is in our DNA, a refrain constantly repeated by the left. But recent history, and research and data prove otherwise. In 1960, 60 percent of Americans said they would never vote for a black president. Nearly 50 years later, Obama was elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2012. In 1958, 4 percent of Americans approved of interracial marriage. Today, that number is 87 percent. Even liberal Harvard sociologist Orlando Patterson said, “America is now the least racist white majority society in the world.” Attorney and radio show host Larry Elder further breaks down the data for Prager University.
