Finding righteous currents in turbulent times

Agonistic Buffering

“Agonistic Buffering” is relatively new entry into human science – except it’s only been understood as a primate behavior, mostly with respect to Barbary Macaques as studied by John M. Deag, who coined the term in 1971.

Except… humans are primates too – and a great deal of human behavior can be better understood through the objective lens of scientific rigor. Imagine oneself an ape first, higher-order-human-god second, and an enormous amount of modern politicking becomes shockingly transparent. More from John Ward.
