Stop Searching for Your Passion
What are you going to do now? What are you passionate about? The cultural imperative to pursue your passion begins at a young age, is most forceful at graduation and can do more harm than good. Branding expert Terri Trespicio says passion is not a plan, it’s a feeling, and feelings change. “Passion is not a sport, a job or a hobby, it’s the full force of your attention,” she says. “And if you’re so busy looking for your passion, you could miss opportunities that can change your life.” Tune in to this episode of Tedx Talks to hear Trespicio turn the “find your passion” message on its ear.
