An Unlikely Encounter
In a mind-blowing film, shot by Belgian director and author Jean-Pierre Dutilleux, watch original, unedited footage of a secluded tribe in the Amazon Rainforest as they encounter a white man for the very first time. Elder members of the Toulambi tribe, archaic stone weapons in hand, tentatively approach Dutilleux himself, reacting as if he was an alien, or an apparition. The film is the first in a series of five produced by Dutilleux, titled Tribal Journeys: The Toulambi, presented by the Kendimir 23 channel.
