Las Vegas Isn’t Las Vegas

Planning a trip to Las Vegas? Be aware you aren’t visiting the place you think you are. Take a quick glance at the map and you’ll see the city of Las Vegas and Paradise, an unincorporated area, which includes nearly everything associated with Las Vegas, such as the famous “welcome” sign and The Strip. So if you think Paradise was incorporated as some kind of tax dodge, you’re right. One more thing, Las Vegas and Paradise are both located in the Las Vegas Valley, so on your next vacation you can boast that you did go to Las Vegas without technically setting foot in Las Vegas.
