5th Generation Warfare

Jordan Sather gives a succinct summary of the five generations of warfare we have seen over the ages. As first explained by conservative strategist William S. Lind in the 1980s, changes in technology fueled the evolution of warfare, spurred by the introduction of guns, planes, tanks and other tools of combat.

Now, we’re in the 5th generation of warfare, involving heavy propaganda as opposed to soldiers squaring off against each other. Sather gets into a few of the key, new aspects we have seen: Social media companies banning comments by conservatives, for instance, and Communist China sending its agents to spy on American businesses and the military.
