Reparations In California
Following a year of study, the California Reparations Task Force, a non-regulatory agency, is preparing to make its case for reparations to state descendants of enslaved Black people, a first-in-the-nation. The task force is deliberating how financial compensation might be calculated and what might be required to prove eligibility.
