Has Harris Selected Shapiro?
While it won’t be announced until next week, all signs indicate that Kamala Harris has selected Josh Shapiro as her vice presidential candidate. Styxhexenhammer666 says that’s a dumb choice.
He argues here that Mark Kelly, the Arizona Senator who is a former astronaut, would make for a better vice president.
Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, might give her a better shot in Pennsylvania. But Styx says he will cost the Democrats in Michigan and Minnesota, both states with heavy pockets of Islamic voters.
There’s still time she could change her mind. Styx believes her final announcement will come Tuesday or Wednesday.
