Tina Peters Jail Term Commuted

Colorado Gov. Jared Polis has commuted the prison sentence of Tina Peters, the Mesa County Clerk who charged election fraud occurred in the 2020 Presidential election. The Democrats in Colorado wanted to make an example out of Peters and gave her a nine-year prison term. Now, Polis says Peters will be able to walk free on June 1.

President Donald Trump had advocated clemency for Peters. And many Republicans have blasted Polis and his leftist followers for incarcerating the 70-year-old Peters. Here’s more from Fox 31 in Denver.
