The Decline And Fall Of The AP

Bill O’Reilly dissects the extreme bias of the uber-liberal mainstream media, spearheaded by the lame Associated Press.

O’Reilly reports that AP CEO is Daisy Veerasingham, the first person of color and its first foreign CEO in the 175-year-old history of the news service. The problem is, Veerasingham is an ardent liberal, who doesn’t hesitate to push her progressive views on the 44 million viewers the AP receives every month. Not acceptable!

O’Reilly features some examples of the AP bias, plus also points out the shortcomings of other media outlets.

No Breaks In McCann Case

British Journalist Matthew Steeples tells Shaun Atwood that it’s time to dispose of Operation Grange, a Special Crime Command unit created to bring expertise to the mysterious disappearance of Madeleine McCann in 2007.

Steeples says the unit has spent $14 million pounds in its investigation, with no substantive breaks in the case. He says a recent poll he conducted on his website, The Steeple Times, found that the public considered the probe a distraction. “It’s always something new with this story to keep it going. It keeps officers in a job. I think this money should be allocated to help other missing people,” he said. Here’s more with Atwood and Steeples.
