Protests Engulf Iranian Regime
As protests in Iran enter their second week, speculation grows over whether the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei will flee, perhaps to Russia. The protests have now spread to 23 of Iran’s 31 provinces. At least 16 individuals have been killed.
Protesters are angry toward the Iranian regime after a sharp decline in the value of the Iranian currency, the rial. It was been plunging vis a vis the American dollar, down to new record lows.
