Russian Volcano Erupts

A volcanic eruption in Russia’s far eastern Kamchatka Peninsula has produced stunning images of lava flows oozing through a snowy wilderness. The Plosky Tolbachik volcano started erupting in November after being dormant for more than 30 years. It’s unclear how long the eruption will last. The volcano last erupted was in 1976.
