Thrash metal guitarist Marc Piovanetti has been charged with sexually assaulting a missing teenage girl. Piovanetti, who was guitarist with the bands Carnivore and Crumbsuckers in the 1980s, was already a registered sex offender.
Piovanetti lured the missing teen, said to be between the ages of 13 and 16, to his home in Bergen County, New Jersey. He approached her on a music-related dating app called TurnUp.
