Vatican’s Secret Time Machine

Is the Chronovisor real—the Vatican’s secret time machine that saw Jesus?

Join Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts as they take you on a journey through time and see if there’s any truth to the mysterious Chronovisor’s existence.

The device has long captured the imagination of conspiracy theorists and enthusiasts of the unexplained. Claimed to be a time-viewing machine invented by Italian priest and scientist Father Pellegrino Ernetti in the 1960s, the Chronovisor supposedly allowed users to witness historical events as they unfolded. Ernetti spoke of witnessing events like Cicero’s speeches and Christ’s crucifixion.

However, Vatican officials from where the device was allegedly developed remain silent on its existence. A photo began to spread online in the 2000s of what appeared to be Jesus with John and Joseph of Arimathea. Officially, the photo has been debunked, as people claimed it was a photo of a painting from the 1900s. However, upon taking a closer look, some unusual things began to surface.  Here’s more on The Edge of Wonder.
