USAID & The Rap Game (Part 2)
Were outlandish rap groups like N.W.A. (Niggaz With Attitudes) simply creation of the CIA? Just how deeply entrenched was the spy agency in the rap music scene? How much control did the CIA exert over recording labels, as well as radio stations and individual performers?
How did the CIA get the money to do all of its machinations? Did all of the funds come through USAID or were there illicit drug sales, pornography, human trafficking, stock market transactions or other sources of vast pools of money?
Mike Benz doesn’t answer all of those questions here, but he certainly opens lots of new doors and raises prospects you might never have considered otherwise. Benz is the executive director of the Foundation for Freedom Online.
